As I celebrate another birthday, I am engulfed by a wave of thoughts. At times, the thought of not doing enough, followed with so many questions like: should I have helped more people? should I have built more software and made more money? should I have done a lot more by now?
And then there is a reminder of times that have passed and what could be better done, interwined with ambiguity of what’s to come.
However, there are moments when I feel really thankful, especially as I recount God’s abundant blessings and the individuals who have been pivotal in molding me into who I am today.
I am reminded that building strong relationships is key in life, and honestly, I haven’t always been the best at this. It’s important to keep my friends and family close and not hesitate to seek their help and support whenever needed.
Strengthening my relationship with God has consistently been a part of my daily, monthly, and quarterly goals. Admittedly, there are days when it can be challenging, and despite my questions and the intricacies of faith that I’m still unraveling, I am learning to persist. For in the end, holding onto trust in Jesus, especially during those moments of uncertainty, is the true testament of faith.
Life can be tough and tiring at times, but one must keep pushing and moving forward. Aiming high, working diligently and caring deeply about what matters.
Ultimately, I must learn to let go of the past, the mistakes and regrets, If my last day were to be tomorrow, would I choose to use the remaining time in a different manner? Life is a treasured gift given to us, and I should aim to utilize it to the fullest in a way that brings joy to the one who gave it.
